Leaving my dog tied up outside? For me, that wasn’t an option.

In recent years, reports of stolen dogs had been increasing. According to Herz für Tiere, four to five dogs are stolen every single day in major German cities — and the trend is rising. Purebred dogs are often targeted, resold, or abused for breeding. Losing my French Bulldog Homie would shatter my world.

Shortly after, I planned a solo trip — just me and my dog. And I kept asking myself: What do I do in situations where tying him up is unavoidable?

I searched for a solution, but nothing convinced me. So I decided to create one myself: paracord, steel cable, lock — and the first anti-theft leash was born.

What started as a travel idea quickly became part of my everyday life. Suddenly I could pop into the corner shop, stop by the bakery, or run quick errands — without that constant uneasy feeling in the back of my mind.

As I kept crafting, I realized how deeply the topic resonated with me. Ideas kept flowing, designs became more refined, materials more durable.

And eventually, I asked myself: If this helps us so much — why not help others too?

So I uploaded my first products to Etsy. The response was overwhelming — I hadn’t expected that. Dog owners all over the world knew exactly this problem.

From those first orders, things grew quickly: first Amazon, then our own online shop. Until now, every product was made individually to measure.
